ATCN was developed to teach established standards of trauma care and practical, life-saving skills. The course is designed for experienced nurses working in the pre-hospital setting, emergency department, critical care unit and operating room who wish to increase their knowledge and practical skills in managing critically injured trauma patients.

After participating in this program, participants will be able to:

Demonstrate concepts and principles of primary and secondary patient assessments.
Establish management priorities in a trauma situation.
Demonstrate management priorities necessary when dealing with the trauma patient.
Be aware of the importance of a standardized team approach in trauma care, understand the ATCN common language and perform properly as a team member when managing multiple trauma patients.

This course is jointly accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and Society of Trauma Nurses (STN). Upon completion, participants will receive 19 International CME credits from the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) and an official certificate valid internationally for 4 years.

Cancellation of confirmed registration shall require written notification (letter or email) at least one day before the program.
Rescheduling for any valid reason shall be considered if requested at least Two weeks before the program.
Any cancellation and/or "No show" on the day of the course shall indicate "No Refund and No Rescheduling".
If the participant notified LSA officially of cancellation 1 to 7 Days before the program date, 50% of the total fee shall be refunded.
Notification of cancellation within more than 8 days before the program date, 75% of the total fee will be refunded.
The cancellation of clinical programs which require pre-course materials, if the participants received those materials, then the participants shall bear the cost of those specific materials as per the cost determined by the program.
Notification of cancellation for ATLS Courses must be one month before the day of the course.
